Aqua One’s 156w polymer filter wool pad is designed to trap solid waste, plant debris and food particles preparing the water for the 156c carbon and ceramic cartridges. The fine, interwoven, polymer fibres attract even fine debris and have a good ability to not only trap but retain waste of all types. The 156w polymer pad will not rinse out effectively and should be replaced every four to six weeks. If your set up has high waste levels the pads may not last as long as they do work very hard so its worth checking on the pad once per week – if water isnt passing through the pad and tends to collect on top its time to replace it, so its worth looking at six packs of Aqua one 156w so you always have a few on hand.
