An Aqua One Store PL18 compact fluorescent tube sunlight . Our own PL tube  which gives a golden light and good penetration to the bottom of the aquarium for plant growth. This PL18 sunlight  is exclusive to Aqua One Store.
These are the tubes suitable in any  AquaStyle 620 or AquaStyle 620T but will not fit your Aqua Nano set up.
When changing any PL tube take your time and only ever grip the plastic base of the tube. They can become quite stiff to remove so take it slowly and gently wiggling the tube from side to side until it pops out. Make sure the new one is pushed firmly into place.

How long do Aqua one PL 18 Compact Fluorescent Tubes Last?

All PL tubes, in fact all Fluorescent tubes of all types, lose their output over time with the best performance being given over the first six to eight months. After this fish colours are lost and greater algae growth frequently occurs. We frequently mark the date on the end of the PL tube so we can check and see easily if its time is done.
