Product Description
The Aqua One 167s sponge pack is designed for use exclusively in the excellent over head trickle filter fitted to the LifeStyle Classic 72 and LifeStyle 76 aquariums. It is part of Aqua One’s excellent three stage filter that has been tried and trusted in thousands of aquariums in the UK for the last twenty or so years.
The 167s forms the second part of the filtration process and traps some solid waste but mainly cultures beneficial bacteria culture and along with the ceramic Bionoodles gets to work dealing with the very toxic Ammonia produced as your fish’s primary waste product.
The 167S sponge may be rinsed in a little aquarium water (which is then discarded) and then re -used for a while. The Bionoodles may be treated in the same way.
